Readers’ Theatre at AX and Knocks Cafe, July 14
Presented as part of Sussex SummerFEST
Step back in time as the characters and places depicted in the murals of Sussex are brought to life by members of “Class Act”, a well-established local theater troupe. Through toe-tapping music and dramatic readings, you’ll learn about the first settlers to arrive in Sussex Vale, the arrival of the first train, Camp Sussex, characters such as Hugh McMonagle, and much more.
Join us at AX, your newly-renovated arts and culture centre, and Knocks Café, a licensed restaurant, on July 14 for this FREE EVENT as we explore the history of Sussex through music and drama.
We’re keeping the gallery open past our usual 4:00 p.m. closing time, so why not stop by after work for refreshments and a meal? Then sit back and enjoy the entertainment that starts at 6:00 p.m.
This event is part of the Sussex SummerFEST and is funded in part by the Government of Canada.
