The AX Music Series is pleased to present award winning Fiddler, Katherine Moller! Whether she is playing traditional fiddle tunes in a crowded pub or the music of Bach on a concert stage, her love and respect for the instrument and its widespread appeal have brought her considerable acclaim as one of the province’s true fiddle ambassadors.

Join us on Sunday, February 11th at 2pm for Celtic old time and original fiddle music by Katherine and accompanied by guitar.

Bio

 
Katherine Moller is a graduate of McGill University. She is well-known as one of the most versatile musicians in New Brunswick: her recordings of traditional and Celtic fiddle music have received numerous nominations for ECMA awards and have won several Music NB awards. She is a regular performer with the Saint John Early Music Festival’s Collegium Musicum and Ensemble 18c. as well as with Symphony New Brunswick and the Camerata NB. Katherine performs on a violin built by an anonymous 18th-century German maker.
