Come get cozy and creative at AX for a Fall-Inspired Paint & Sip Watercolour Workshop with local artist, Kayla Collins on October 29th from 6-8pm in the AX Workshop Room!

Guided by Kayla, you’ll explore the fundamentals of watercolour while creating a beautiful autumn-inspired painting of your own. You will dive into all the seasonal vibes and spend a fun evening painting with a drink in hand.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or have painted before, this workshop is all about having fun, getting creative, and embracing the beauty of fall. You’ll leave with new skills, a one-of-a-kind artwork, and hopefully a little extra appreciation for this colourful season. Grab a drink, pick up a brush, and let’s paint the colours of fall!

About the Instructor

Kayla Collins is a Sussex, NB based artist. Her work draws inspiration from the natural landscapes surrounding her small town. Through watercolour, she captures the quiet beauty of fleeting moments, changing seasons, and familiar places that can often be overlooked or taken for granted.

With an educational background in Art History and Fine Arts from Mount Allison University, as well as Graphic Design from NBCC, Collins uses this along with experience working in a professional gallery to deepen her appreciation for viewing and interpreting the world around her. She is continually inspired by the landscapes she grew up surrounded by and their ever-changing moods and colours. Through her work, Collins hopes to encourage others to pause and appreciate the beauty found in the familiar world around them.
