This Galentine’s Day, celebrate the beauty of friendship and creativity with a one-of-a-kind silver chain bracelet workshop! Gather your best friends or come solo to meet new ones as we spend an evening connecting, and creating something truly special. 

Join us on February 13 from 6 PM to 9 PM in the AX Workshop Room, located at 12 Maple Ave., Sussex, NB. Under the guidance of jewellery artist Emily Rioux, you’ll learn the art of designing and assembling a beautiful silver chain bracelet that reflects your unique style. Emily will share her knowledge, tips, and techniques in a relaxed and engaging environment, making it a perfect experience for beginners and seasoned crafters alike. Whether you’re celebrating with lifelong friends, treating yourself to a night out, or surprising someone special, this workshop promises to be an evening full of laughter, inspiration, and sparkle.

About the Artist

Originally from Rothesay, NB, Emily Rioux is a multidisciplinary artist and arts administrator based in Sussex, New Brunswick. She serves as the Marketing and Programming Coordinator at AX, the Arts and Culture Centre of Sussex, where she is dedicated to fostering creativity and community engagement through innovative arts programming.

Emily is a graduate of the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design, where she earned a Certificate in Visual Arts and a Diploma in Metalsmithing and Jewellery Design. Her artistic practice pushes the boundaries of traditional jewellery, focusing on creating full-body, conceptual pieces that challenge the conventional understanding of wearable art.

When she is not working in the arts sector, Emily is a passionate spin coach, who enjoys spending time in nature with her dog.
