This holiday season, the AX Boutique expands into the gallery to bring you Gifted, a curated holiday collection of handmade art and fine crafts by over 60 artists from across New Brunswick. This year’s lineup includes new makers, returning favourites, and artists from our year-round AX Boutique. We’re excited to feature a carefully curated selection from both new and returning artists alongside our core AX Boutique makers.
From November through January, explore an inspiring array of unique, locally made pieces perfect for gifting and collecting. Featuring jewellery, pottery, textiles, visual art, glasswork, and more, Gifted offers something for everyone on your list while celebrating the creativity of New Brunswick makers. This special three-month showcase combines the spirit of the holidays with the excellence of local craftsmanship—experience artful giving at AX this season!

Meet the Curator
Joëlle Martin is a visual artist who resides near Fundy National Park in New Brunswick. She specializes in portraying flora, fauna, and found objects in her watercolour artwork, infusing each piece with intricate detail and a vibrant narrative. Joëlle blends antique paints with modern pigments, making her paintings a true chronicle of time and memory. Previously a Makeup Artist with a background in customer service and retail management, she brings valuable experience to her role as Docent and Boutique Manager at AX. She is dedicated to curating enriching experiences for visitors and promoting local arts and culture in the region
