About the Instructor
Born and raised in Sussex, NB, Kayla Collins is a multidisciplinary artist with a primary focus on watercolour painting. She developed her skills through academic studies in Art History and a Fine Arts minor at Mount Allison University, along with training in Graphic and Communications Design at NBCC.
Kayla’s artistic practice combines traditional fine art techniques with modern digital tools, allowing her to transform and share her work in fresh and engaging ways. While she explores a variety of subjects, her work primarily focuses on capturing the beauty of fleeting moments in nature—highlighting the ever-changing, often overlooked details of everyday life.
