Join us in the AX Workshop Room for a relaxed and inspiring 3-part rughooking series led by Danielle Boudreau, perfect for both beginners and those looking to build confidence in their practice. Taking place on March 14, April 11, and May 9 from 1:30–3:00pm, this thoughtfully spaced series allows participants time between sessions to work on their pieces at home.

The first session focuses on getting started, covering the basics and setting you up for success. Session two is all about hook and chill—a casual, supportive studio hang with time to work, ask questions, and connect with others. The final session brings everything together with guidance on finishing techniques, helping you complete your rug with confidence. A cozy, creative way to learn a traditional craft at your own pace.

Danielle provides step-by-step instructions in both English and French! All materials are provided!

About the Instructor

Danielle Boudreau is an emerging self-taught artist working in acrylic painting and primitive rug hooking. Her moody, maximalist still lifes arrange ordinary objects into intimate, symbolic compositions. She draws on her Acadian heritage to explore memory and the resonance of the handmade.
