About the Instructor

Spencer Corbett, born in the countryside of Apohaqui, NB, has long been captivated by the intersection of imagination and craft. His creative path began in fashion, earning a diploma in Fashion Design from NBCCD Fredericton, before evolving toward the expressive possibilities of metal. Completing a second diploma in Metal Arts, Corbett discovered a medium that allowed him to merge precision with playfulness.

His work often reimagines ordinary or nostalgic objects, casting them in new forms that spark curiosity and invite a sense of wonder. Through metal, stained glass, and painting, Corbett explores themes of memory, transformation, and the childlike impulse to see magic in the everyday.

His pieces have been exhibited at Gallery 78 (Fredericton), La Pai Gallery (Ottawa), the Beaverbrook Art Gallery (Fredericton), Government House (Fredericton), the George Fry Gallery (Fredericton), and AX, the Arts and Culture Centre of Sussex (Sussex). Some of Spencers work has also been featured in Home & Garden Magazine.
