Join us on Thursday, April 17, at 6 PM in the AX Gallery (12 Maple Ave, Sussex, NB) for a special evening with Donna Morrissey, UNB Writer in Residence. Moderated by Gemma Marr, this event will feature readings from Morrissey’s deeply personal memoir, Pluck, and her powerful historical novel, Rage the Night.
With her signature charm and humor, Morrissey explores themes of resilience, family, and self-discovery. Pluck is an intimate reflection on love’s restorative power through loss and mental illness, while Rage the Night blends historical fact with gripping fiction in a tale of identity and survival.
