Call for literary Proposals

An independent, volunteer committee meets every few months to review all proposals. If you’re interested in reading at AX, please complete an AX Literary Proposal Form; if you’d like to teach a literary workshop, please complete an AX Workshop Proposal Form. Email completed forms to execdirector@axartscentre.ca, or print and drop them off / mail them to AX, 12 Maple Ave., Sussex, NB, E4E 2N5.

AX Writing Group

The AX Writing Group meets in the AX Gallery on the third Thursday of every month from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. and encourages new members to join.

April 16, 6:30 p.m.
May 21, 6:30 p.m.
June 18, 6:30 p.m.
July 16, 6:30 p.m.
August 20, 6:30 p.m.
September 17, 6:30 p.m.
October 15, 6:30 p.m.

The group is open to teens and adults, all writing genres (poetry, fiction, memoir), and all experience levels, to discuss and share writing in a welcoming environment. There’s no pressure to share your work, but if you have something you’ve been working on and would like to get some feedback, please bring it along.

Note: Scheduling conflicts may occasionally arise with other events taking place in the gallery; in these cases, we’ll try to reschedule the writing group. Please check this page and our Facebook for updates.
